You Old Smoothie

If you are a man in your early sixties now, you will have lived through an abundance of styles for hair, clothes and cosmetics. It is beard styling that seems to grab attention now. There are waxes that I would not have considered, and stuff to keep to keep the face fungus smelling fresh. Of course, how many of us chaps would feel comfortable with a full set that is now salt-and-pepper, or even completely snowy? But there are fine examples of greybeards, and Ernest Hemingway is just the first that springs to mind. A beard will obviously take away the ‘smoothie’ label, but what is the best style and maintenance to present manly whiskers rather than Father Christmas?
